I have a serious soft spot in my heart for Killgore. Last year’s run of shows pulled me out of the massive depression I had been in for over a year following my mom’s death. It reminded me why I loved performing and comedy, and how lucky I am to do these things with an amazing bunch of hilarious and supportive people.
This year I’m in a much better place mentally, and just got to sit back and enjoy the madness of getting “naked close” to peeps while covered in chocolate sauce.
I’m really grateful for both experiences.

Awesome cast, awesome crew. These people are fantastic!

fun nights for real.  I am still exhausted and still cleaning blood out of my ears.

I knew I said I was going to stop posting Bleep Bloops here unless I’m really excited about them, but Gabrus has one of my favorite Bloop jokes of all-time in this week’s deleted scenes. You’ll know it when you get there.

bleepbloopblog:

We played both Wu Tang Shaolin Style and Hannah Montanna The Movie The Game for this week’s Bleep Bloop, though neither made the main episode.

Hannah Montanna’s just not that interesting. We actually played this one when we shot our last sequel, Girly Games Slumber Party II, though it wasn’t interesting enough for that episode either. I’d say it’s pretty unlikely we’ll try for a third time, sorry Miley.

Wu Tang Shaolin Style is one of the few PS1 games that doesn’t work in PS3. You can watch the movies and get to the character selection screen, but it hangs on the loading screen. We actually went out and bought a PS1 ($25!), but then we couldn’t get the PS1 to work with our video recorder.

Who is that fuzzy out of focus bearded writer in the background center frame.  Right in between John Murray and Sue Galloway?
Yup.  It’s me.  I made it.
I may not be a successful comedy writer but I play one on TV.

I’m really digging this new cartoon written and produced by Dan Meth.  I hope you Digg it too.

It was a fun time doing voices for this cartoon.  I am actually the skinny one for the first time in my life, and my hilarious friend and old roommate Derek Nason, is the fat one!

Dan Meth is rediculously talented

Man of the Match

This past saturday, my rugby team the Village Lions played Montclair on their field.  We won both the A-side match and the B-side match.  I played in the ‘B’ side at a position I don’t normally play Second Row (I usually play Flanker).  I played a heck of a game, some big tackles and couple of solid runs that led to tries (rugby version of a touchdown).

I was voted as Man of the Match, which is like a player voted MVP, it’s a bit of an honor.  Along with the esteem of your teammates and the personal pride it gives a 27 year old former meathead.

Apparently, the Lion’s tradition is the Man of the Match wears a ridiculous Playboy button down shirt open, and forced to drink a decent amount of beer in front of the team.

So I did all this on Saturday, I got so drunk post game that I was home in bed and passed out by 1030.

All in all a great day.

Oh, also, I woke up in the morning to find a poland spring bottle (1/2 gallon) filled with urine outside my apartment door.  I have no clue what happened, my only guess would be that I couldn’t get my keys out fast enough, and just pissed right outside there in a bottle.

It is good to know that I still got it.
